Walkround
Walkround is a quoting app for painters and decorators. Walk round the job with your phone, photograph each room and every problem area, and talk as you go. Holes, cracks, scuffs, rot and stains are counted and graded against your own repair times, and a calculator turns them into a labour quote at your day rate. You check every line, set your own final price and send the customer a clear quote, room by room, with materials as a separate, optional price. It’s a new build, being shaped with a working decorator.

Things to try
- Open the sample job and look at the problem photos in the living room.
- Go to the quote, change the hours on a line, then type your own price.
- Tick “Also give a separate materials quotation” and scroll down to the customer’s copy.
- Start a new job, add a room, type “three screw holes by the window” on a problem area and press “Assess from note”.
